Ros O'Brien - Biography Ros has a wealth of experience in manufacturing, research & development, fmcg’s
and the service
sector, with extensive knowledge of a wide variety of business types including those under the banner
of not-for-profit. She has experienced first-hand many organisational changes and been actively
involved in several development plans, including the implementation of new working practices and
procedures, moving to cell manufacturing, new product development, forward and backward integration
of businesses and many other change management programmes throughout her career. Her key
strengths lie in the areas of Quality Management, Supplier Auditing, Technical (R&D), Management
Development, Recruitment and Business Skills Training. Until February 2001, she had spent the
previous fourteen months as an HR Consultant working for a Specialist Consultancy, based in
Cambridge. Her responsibilities included business development, design and delivery of tailored
training, providing HR expertise to retainer Clients and managing recruitment campaigns on behalf of
Clients. Her most recent qualifications include the NEBSM Supervisory
Management Certificate, HNC in Business & Finance and the DMS Diploma in Management Studies. Ros
has also successfully completed numerous other training courses and continues to increase her
knowledge and understanding by attending necessary and relevant training. This ensures she always applies the latest tools
